National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems (NPIAS)
May 31, 2023 · This Order establishes guidelines for managing and maintaining two federal plans that are essential to airport development: the National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems (NPIAS) and the Airports Capital Improvement Plan (ACIP).
The national airport system, envisioned in the first National Airport Plan issued in 1946, has been developed and nurtured through close cooperation among airport sponsors and other local agencies and Federal and State agencies.
