As a Swede, I really like this flag. It's much better than the current socialist flag of Sweden. I like how the design follow some of the in-universe conventions of syndicalist flag design (UoB, Norway etc.) while still feeling really Swedish.

Jan 22, 2023 · Nitpicking aside great thing for them to get a new flag and having more recognition as a group, my family came from Sweden to Finland in the 14th century and migrated to Savonia so there could be even some distant relation to the forest finns.

In contrast, Sweden's 1906 (not 1908) flag law did specify light medium blue. I think there wasn't anything that specific before 1906 - I think Wikipedia's presentation of things as though it was a change to the colours rather than a standardisation reflects the fact that darker blues were common during the union with Norway, rather than an ...

Funny enough, the hammer design is literally taken from the flag of Sweden's old Socialist Party of the 1930s, so there's a specific reason for using that hammer actually.
