Aug 2, 2016 · Just outside Wichita Falls on Hwy 287, the skeletal remains of a house, known as 'Witches Gate,' sits alone at the top of the hill, slowly crumbling since that rumored summer night of 1975.

Another tale says robbers broke into the house, and one of the small boys in the family managed to trap the robbers and set the house afire, killing everyone inside, including himself. Other stories say the family was involved in witchcraft, which spawned the name Witches Gate.
