Antioch High School is a STEM school, meaning our curriculum places a focus on science, technology, engineering and math. In March 2016, we became the first high school in Tennessee declared an AVID (Advancement through Individual Determination) Demonstration School.

Antioch is one of twelve high schools that make up the Academies of Nashville. Students have a choice of different academies offering a practical, hands-on approach to learning in fields that interest them ranging from engineering to healthcare.

Antioch High School is home to an award-winning Freshman Academy and four National Career Academy Coalition Accredited Model Academies where students receive experiential learning opportunities such as industry field trips, job shadows, and internships provided by our phenomenal business partners.

The Antioch High School Band Program was established in the early 1930s at the how historic, Blue Hole Road Campus of Antioch High School. Through numerous directors over the years, the band program has established itself as one of the premier band programs in MNPS and in all of Middle Tennessee.
