No really. The DLC was great because it made use of the PS5 vs Remake originally being made for PS4. It offered few new ideas for combat but it's very limited and doesn't add a substantial amount to the story.

Jun 17, 2021 · Yuffie is fun to play shes a mix of long range and melee so for sure on ff7r2 she will be on my main party. The music of the dlc isnt great but i love that jazzy music when yuffie is chasing down Zhiejie. The side quest on the dlc is a bummer just plain old SE side quest not worth it for my time for sure.

There is possibility for things to be referenced and expanded upon in Rebirth (and even part 3 since they said Wutai won't be in Rebirth), but I want to say that the experience was largely very stand alone in a lot of ways, and the elements that likely will be referenced in the future won't be hard to include a recap of.
