Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday, bar none. We usually host 25-35 people, so I started menu planning today! Plan on growing some squash blossoms, greens, herbs, & hot peppers around the time so that I have access to certain produce items which are harder to get here.

The pilgrims settled in an area that was largely devoid of native Americans because they had been wiped out by a previous pandemic, and they had peaceful relations with the remaining Wampanoag for decades.

Nov 10, 2021 · Thanksgiving is honestly just a pain. My husband's parents are divorced and everyone wants their own celebration, my parents included. The whole holiday is traditionally centered around a very large meal, so feeling obligated to attend 3 separate, large meals is ridiculous in one day.

It always bummed me out cos she had to work Christmas Eve and I think she would have rather had that day off then the day after thanksgiving.
