Automatically fill a series of data in your worksheet, like dates, numbers, text, and formulas. Use the AutoComplete feature, Auto Fill Options button and more.

Microsoft Office Excel completes text entries that you start to type in a column of data — if the first few letters that you type match an existing entry in that column. If you want to stop automatic completion, you can turn this option off.

You can use Formula AutoComplete in the middle of an existing nested function or formula. The text immediately before the insertion point is used to display values in the drop-down list, and all of the text after the insertion point remains unchanged.

AutoComplete helps you quickly insert functions and arguments while minimizing typing and syntax errors. The AutoComplete menu shows you available options based on context, and you choose what you want to insert into your formula.
