Jul 21, 2023 · I love Barq's root beer, but I can't seem to find it at any stores near me or online. I used to see it at my local grocers until around a month ago, and now it's like they all just vanished. I'm referring to the canned kind btw as the bottled kind is almost a completely different drink imo.

Barq's contains caffeine and is not trying to be a smooth, sweet root beer like A&W. As said elsewhere, it's got a bite to it the other 2 don't. If you want to try really good bottled root beer look for Hank's Root Beer or Sprecher's Root Beer (and their Maple Root Beer) in the glass bottle.

Aug 24, 2023 · The main reason I avoid Barq's, though, is it has caffeine - one of the main reasons I drink root beer instead of soda. True, it's not much (22.5 mg in a 12 oz. can), but I want ZERO caffeine. As far as the Big Four go - the ones you can find in any supermarket and many convenience store: A&W > Barq's > Dad's > Mug.

Mar 23, 2021 · Barq's has the caffeine element. It all comes down to one's taste. I prefer sweet root beers, so A&W is my preferred root beer among the mass produced sodas. Barq's and Mug aren't close to being my favorite, but I respect their place among root beer and their role in introducing people to the great drink we love.

Where did you get a barq's root beer? Not around here! You can't get barq's root beer around here! Why you snot-nosed little brat! When I was a kid we had to walk 3 miles up here on the snow just to get to the store to buy a barq's root beer!

I'm 26 years old. I've been drinking root beer as long as I can remember. When I was just a little kid I remember thinking that Barqs rootbeer was the best. However, as I grew my taste changed. I stopped drinking barqs. I jumped from Mugs, to A&W, certain at each juncture that I had found the superior rootbeer.

How does it compare to Barq's, and how does it compare to Diet A&W? I do like Barq's but don't drink sugar anymore, but while I don't like regular A&W I find Diet A&W to be quite nice. As for other Coke products, I think Diet is better than Zero, but that's just me. I'd really like to hear what you think about it and compare it to other diet ...

Jun 9, 2020 · I have been looking for Barq's since June '20 and the 2 liter bottles are all I can find. My 93 year old father loves the stuff and just can't find the small bottles or the cans anywhere and I think what COKE is doing is a shame.
