Feb 20, 2022 · Fernholz’s new Buccaneer design is behind the two, and on Bucky’s T-shirt. Students from grades K-12 gathered in the Blue Earth Area High School gymnasium on Friday afternoon, Feb.11, for the reveal of the new, updated Buccaneer mascot.

A mascot is important for several reasons, but most importantly, it’s the image that our students associate with our school family and our identity. This helps with the connectedness of our student body, our school family, our community, and our Buc Pride.

Aug 18, 2024 · The Blue Earth Area School Board took a look at the new floor in the high school commons area, complete with a large Buccaneer mascot in the center. With the start of school just two weeks away, the Blue Earth Area School Board spent almost their entire meeting on Monday, Aug. 12, discussing things to do with the start of school.
