The Disappearing Hourglass – a quick and easy star pattern from Missouri Star Quilting Company. You will need: 10-inch squares in contrasting colors. Align contrasting 10-inch squares, right-sides together, and sew all the way around, 1⁄4” from the edge. Cut diagonally, twice. Press resulting half-square triangles toward the darker fabric.

Arrange 4 half-square triangle units in a 4-patch formation as shown to make an hourglass block. Sew into 2 rows and press the seams toward the darker triangle.
