It is possible to find the 20" barrel out in the wild. For example, the Midnight Sapphire Boss (grey beret guy) drops a CQ A1 with a 20" barrel that you can use on an MK18 or an M4. If both the M4 and MK18 are configured the same there is virtually no perceptible difference.

Jun 8, 2024 · As for the video, I feel like there will be a weapon balancing coming up in the future that will make the AK more useable for close range, and the modifications made in this video more effective (i.e. a bigger difference than just using the stock MK18 with the 20inch barrel from gunny as currently you can pretty much use that everywhere)

May 7, 2024 · The MK18, in reality, is a short barreled M4 style rifle measuring in at 10.3". It is purposefully designed as a CQB weapon primarily used by special forces. The M4A1 is a 14.5" assault rifle designed as a carbine, used by regular army and special forces.

You can build a nice M4A1 for less than $2k, with better stats than that Mk18 for $6800. Use your noodle and just do it
