Fire Station 5 is the future home of Light and Air 65. This is a unique and new apparatus to the Oxnard Fire Department. On LA65 is a compressor that allows SCBA bottles to be refilled on scene of a fire. The lighting capabilities make it extremely useful on any night-time incident.

The Oxnard Fire Department is excited and proud to put into service a new response apparatus. Light and Air 65 (LA 65) will respond out of Oxnard Fire Station 5 on 1450 Colonia Rd.

Oxnard Fire Station 5, part of Division 2 and Battalion 5, is located at 1450 E Colonia Rd in Oxnard, California. It serves the El Rio area and is equipped with Engine 65 and Light and Air 65. Contact information, office hours, and other details about the fire department.

Tomorrow morning we are proud to put our new unit, Light and Air 65 into service. The addition of this support unit was made possible by the a FEMA AFG grant. Its primary response will be to working structure fires where we can use its air compressor to refill air cylinders on scene.
