May 7, 2012 · No I don't glue pvc conduit to be honest, especially if it's outside. I always cut the conduit so that there is a 2-3 mm gap where the conduit ends and the stop lip on the box, this to allow for any expansion in the summer.

Oct 15, 2021 · Normal PVC solvent glue does not work on HDPE. There's very little that sticks to it which is why heat fusion is the normal choice. Is there is a compression (mechanical) connector option to attach a flange or rigid conduit spout that can then be connected to the PVC?
