Official Discussion: Pride and Prejudice and Zombies [SPOILERS]
The more I think about this, the more I realize I would have rather just seen a movie about zombies set in 1800's England than a Pride and Prejudice remake that happens to have zombies in it. There were enjoyable parts, though. I liked seeing the girls polishing knives and cleaning guns instead of doing needlepoint.
Revisiting Pride and Prejudice and Zombies (2016): How did you
Jul 8, 2022 · Pride and Prejudice and Zombies is a 2009 mash-up novel by Seth Grahame-Smith that injects a zombie plague backdrop into Jane Austen's classic novel by altering Austen's own writing just enough to make room for blood-splattered action scenes and …

Nov 23, 2020 · I decided to give the Pride, Prejudice, and Zombies movie another try, and I just... can’t. The pacing of the story and the dialogue is so weird, and it abandons all Regency manners while adapting scenes and lines directly from the 2005 movie. Matt Smith is great, though.

Pride and Prejudice and Zombies- why? : r/books - Reddit
I'll defend Pride and Prejudice and Zombies and the whole of Quirk Classics. I saw Pride and Prejudice and Zombies as a sort of breath of fresh air for a classic that has more or less lost its ability to relate to a more modern audience. The heart of the novel is still there, but its more dressed up for younger readers.
Will I understand Pride and Prejudice and Zombies? : r/books
Jan 30, 2016 · I actually read Pride and Prejudice and Zombies before I read Pride and Prejudice. PPZ actually is what got me into Jane Austen in the first place. You don't have to read the original first to get anything in the book at all. PPZ is literally just PP with zombies and martial arts and I love both books.

I want to buy the Pride and Prejudice novel but am confused on
Jan 25, 2022 · Finally, there's Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, which is listed bottom right on your second slide. This isn't the original book, though it's based on it; it's kind of a comedy-novelty-horror book which takes the original text and re-edits it in order to include a zombie apocalypse narrative.
