Stockton is an environment for academic excellence. Our brand guide enables us to create the association and shape the perceptions of Stockton in the minds of others.

The purpose of Stockton’s logo is to create a clear, memorable brand identity for the University. The tree icon and University wordmark highlight Stockton’s history, progress, transformation and growth.

Stockton University is a public university in Galloway Township, New Jersey. It is part of New Jersey's public system of higher education. It is named for Richard Stockton, one of the New Jersey signers of the U.S. Declaration of Independence. Founded in 1969, Stockton accepted its charter class in 1971.

Stockton's mace is crowned with the flame of knowledge, carved in holly, to denote mission. At the foot is a carved acorn which indicates growth. Below the flame of knowledge is a triad of Stockton logos, each a twin-treed symbol of environmental concern.

Dec 1, 2022 · The seal is “rooted” in the history and location of the university. The original logo includes stylized tree branches in recognition of Stockton’s location in the Pinelands and its early commitment to the environment.
