Jul 30, 2021 · So I've found a setting called " Intel Virtualization Technology " in my motherboard's settings under the CPU Configuration tab, set it to "disabled" and pressed "save and exit". The PC powered off and back on. When it loaded into my desktop everything was very slow.

Feb 29, 2020 · Here's now what I did: In Control Panel/Programs and Features, I disabled these two features; Virtualization and Hyper-V and once again lost my second SSD, Rebooted and in CP I saw that I've also lost Disk Management in Administrative Services. Jun 6, 2017 · not at all. virtualizations entire purpose is to make the VM run faster and better. if you disable Virtualization the VM (when you decide to run it) would require more resources from the system slowing everything down. by turning it on you are just ensuring that when you do run a VM it will have all the resources it needs.

So, first I revisited Windows Features panel to make sure that Hyper-v is not enabled which might have caused Virtualization to get disabled.
