Mar 16, 2011 · The offset in a Duramax LB7 is about 2 - 3 inches. This shows why it is harder to get to some rear engine bolts on the driver's side of the engine bay. The same principle applies to most engines with two banks of cylinders, such as any V2, V4, V6, V8 or V12, etc.

Oct 16, 2022 · I've got a 2015 duramax with the exhaust quality warning and limp mode pending, now only 50 miles away (4 mph). I've got a Innova 5160RS tool and have been able to command the DPF regen, but so far haven't seen that I can command the reductant fluid quality test.

Jun 22, 2009 · Now in the Duramax, if you take care of the injectors with some added lube, I hear of people getting 200,000-300,000 out of injectors so this may not be the case, but service on them is likely before a general rebuild. On the turbo, there have been no failures of the turbo that I have heard of in Australia.

Feb 10, 2020 · I have a 2016 Sierra LML with 76K miles, wouldn't fire, towed to the dealer. CP4 blew up, dealer is replacing fuel system, pump, injectors, lines, dropping tank and cleaning, etc Warranty :x, 12k estimate for repairs if it wasn't warranty:surprise:

Nov 27, 2021 · 2002 duramax currently still driving it with 426k miles so far - plan to keep another 5 years or so. I've had the valve covers off this one multiple times - damn LB7 injectors. Still has 60 psi oil press at full operating temp (anything above idle - at idle it's about 40 psi). change interval on all of the vehicles is / was 10k miles. other stuff:
