Feb 18, 2024 · No thanks. I traded it before the corrosion was so visible that an uninformed, non-Jeep dealership would even notice it. Done. I'm 49, and I've owned 10 vehicles over the course of my life (Porsches, BMWs, Audis, and even a Mini). None of them had issues like the clutch recall and body corrosion. So, I dumped it.

This Jeep Overland is a 2018, and the problem appears to be endemic among Jeeps.

Dec 1, 2024 · Having a 2022 with manual transmission, I finally received my recall notice to have a new clutch installed back in August; I have held off on having that work done until January. As part of another recall, for the replacement of the gear position sensor, I took my Jeep in to a dealer in January of this year.

Dec 19, 2022 · I just got the same notice. Interestingly though, they didn’t use the term recall, I think they called it a service notice. Regardless, I plan to take it to the dealership. Should there be an issue in the future, I want to ensure there is a record that the notice was addressed using their recommended procedure and supplies.
