Mar 14, 2025 · Some time ago I named 3 fights I wanted to see in 2025: Alex - Ank, Tom - Jon and DDP - Khamzat. So far, so good. Of the remaining two, I’ll go with the HW match, as I prefer the bigger weight division, but both are awesome fights on paper.

Nov 1, 2021 · Khabib should be a lot smaller than Khamzat at 170 seeing as Khabib can make 155 and Khamzat is fine fighting at 185. Yeah they can both fight at 170, but that doesn't mean it will be an even size matchup. 155 was considered the most competitive division in the UFC for years while Khabib was on top.

Other things to consider are that Khamzat is bigger and stronger. Also, wrestling in mma is different than freestyle or folkstyle (scholastic) wrestling. As such, I think khamzat may get takedowns in the first two rounds, but it'll be hard to keep Colby down and Colby could definitely come back to win the last 3 rounds.

Jun 26, 2022 · khamzat is overall more athletic, stronger, better wrestler and boxer. he hits harder and is in general more aggresive. shavkat's got better kicks and is more composed. khamzat wins that one. cant wait for that fight sometime down the line, both are great

Oct 27, 2023 · Yeah, I didn’t expect Khamzat to run through Usman like Jingliang or Holland, was thinking about the fight being closer to Burns. The whole theres Levels, Khamzat isn’t going to dump a top tier grappler or wrestler and submit them while their fresh, I doubt we see Khamzat finish elite guys early very often anymore unless he sparks them out.
